Amsterdam'13

Summer is over, daily grind caught most of us again. I hope all of you had a nice summer, gathered a lot of experiences and new imprsssions and feel prepared for cold winter.
Since winter semester luckily starts in October, I've got a last month of spare time before university (yes I'm a student now woop woop).
After being lazy for three months now it's time to be productive again. I've collected a lot of photos I wanted to share with you, but I even was too lazy to write new posts.

Let us start with my trip to Amsterdam. In the middle of August a friend and me travelled for four days to Amsterdam and had a great time. The city is just beautiful, I could walk through the streets and stare at the buildings the whole day. The architecture is awesome, people are nice and they all speak quite good english.
Food is quite expensive there, and tickets for museums aren't cheap as well. But it's definitely worth its money. I've never spend so much money in such a short peiod of time, but I have to say I never enjoyed a city as much as Amsterdam. I'll definitely visit Amsterdam and it's overwhelming culture again.

The trip to Amsterdam was the one I took the most photos, even though it was the shortest one.
I'll split the photos into three posts for you, so prepared for another post soon.

Strange clouds and sunrays

Took those photos about two weeks ago. Don't know why I didn't manage to post them. I feel like willing to shoot more, but it doesn't fit to my lifestyle at the moment somehow. Kinda strange.

No color

Since the last days were rainy and cold me and a friend decide to leave our bicycles at home and drive around with the metro. Then walking around the city we found an old building apparently few days before it gets knocked down. Inside everything was painted and sprayed, but most the painted things were ugly and childish. You'll see those photos in the next post. Here are some B&W urban shots.

Fuck school, enjoy spring

Finally spring arrived in Germany! It is warm, you can leave your jacket at home, tan your skin and chill in the sun.
Somehow spring makes me feel creative again. I stare at forms, colors and nature around me. There are things to observe you didn't even pay the smallest amount of attention to. I really want to draw again, spend as much time outisde as possible and do all the things I couldn't do during winter.
Spring we've really been waiting for you, stay as long as possible please!

Today I had to drive to Seligenstadt, a very rich city with a beautiful historic city center. The abbey there is well known around here. Bright flowers and beautiful nature all around you.
Besides the abbey there are lovely little shops with delicious food. If I would live there I would definitely get fat.
There is a wonderful atmosphere in the city. people are very calm and nice. Everything is silent there, there is almost none traffic. Felt like holidays there.

It's like the sun set in your eyes

Puh, I feel like mentioning in every post that I want to take more photosand write more posts, but somehow I don't manage to do so.
Nevertheless I want to show you some of the photos me and a friend took three days ago in an abandoned greenhouse. The lighting was just perfect. The sun went through the painted and broken glasses and just created beautiful colours. Also the greenhouse heated up a little bit, so we could take our jackets off.
I really enjoyed taking photos again and here are the results, enjoy

X-Ray's & Final Exams

Since two of my three final written are done there is only my german exam left over, which should be quite easy. Therefor there is time for blogging, photographing, deigning and everything there was no time for during the last weeks.
In this post you'll see some of my "X-Ray's" I did the last days. I have to say that I enjoy doing them so much. I also like the results a lot. Actually there is only little photoshop work in it. I'll definitely make more of them soon.

A trip to the zoo

Long time, no see. I'm very sorry that I didn't post for such a long time. But besides learning for the final exams, working and doing stuff for art lesson there is not much time for blogging at the moment.
But I promise you there is more to come during the next weeks. I have a lot of photos of my art project, which was a lot of fun. I will collect some Insagram photos and show them here and I will take some photos outside after my exams.

In this post I'll show you some photos I took last summer in the zoo. Here you go.
